Stellenbosch is home to more than 200 award-winning wine estates whilst Franschhoek is known as the Food and Wine Capital of South Africa. Together, these two scenic wine regions create a unique private wine tour for a lifetime of memories. This private tour is fully customizable. You can choose your own list of 4 wine estates to visit or you can follow our carefully selected itinerary.

    The Cape Winelands, in particular, Stellebosch is home to over 200 award-winning wine estates. Therefore, since this is a private customizable tour, we allow travelers to choose their own wine estates for tasting or they can follow our carefully selected itinerary. A typical itinerary would be as follows: Begin your day with a pickup from your Cape Town accommodations. Travel along the N2 to your first winery, De Morgenzon.
  • DeMorgenzon Winery, Stellenbosch, South Africa
    Arriving at DeMorgenzon, you will taste 3 different delectable wines. DeMorgenzon is renowned for playing classical music to their vines, believing that this enhances the growth of the vines. It is therefore little wonder why DeMorgenzon won an award for producing some of the best Chardonnay in the world.

    Afterward, take a historical tour of Stellenbosch, which is the second oldest town in South Africa. Stellenbosch is also home to Stellenbosch University which houses more than 27000 students each year.

    Next, head to the Marianne winery where you will enjoy a wine pairing of 6 wines with Biltong, dried meat similar to beef jerky. Marianne believes that biltong enhances their wine's flavors. Marianne's Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela's 91st Birthday.

    The tour culminates with Delaire Graff wine estate for wine tasting. The Delaire Graff is known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands and you will soon see why from the moment you enter onto the estate. The Delaire Graff is truly one of the most exquisite wine estates in South Africa.

Amazing wine tasting tour with Lucadel. He went out of his way to accomodate our needs especially touring with our 19 months old. We did so much in one day and made friends along the way. Can't thank Lucadel enough for making this tour a memorable one. Highly recommend the tour, especially with Lucadel.

Our guide Ray took us to some absolutely amazing wineries. He was friendly, knowledgeable and organised a good spread of venues across 3 regions. We started in Stellenbosch at Delaire Graff. The wines were phenomenal, our tasting host Danny was fanatic and it was a really relaxed vibe as we sat out on the front porch experiencing some truly great wines. From there we went to Franschhoek and went into Eikehof Wines. The difference between the two venues was very welcome. Straight up the most relaxed host there, good banter, wines and meats with some of the best views yet. There was also a tame chicken, squirrels and an antelope? Which was pretty cool. Lastly we went to Paarl's Fairviews winery where they have a cheese and wine pairing. Again a different vibe with great wines and food. Over the whole day our guide Ray was relaxed and showed us what has to be the best these regions have to offer. Absolutely fantastic trip

Reagan was the best driver and guide ever! He took us to several lovely wineries and a perfect place for lunch as well. It was a small group, the two of us and one other couple so we got to set our own pace. Everything was perfect, even the weather. Highly recommend this tour company and ask for Mr . Reagan!
